I guess there are just really smart people out there. It is official, Kaitlyn will be a RAIDER fan!!!

49ers, Raiders, or...

Football season is a battle in our house.  Not only do Erin and I support different teams, but the teams we like are from the same area which makes it even worse.  While Erin is a Raiders fan, I am a die hard 49ers fan.  It's the battle of the Bay area team.

Now that we have a new baby coming we are fighting even more over what team she will be a fan of.  To make matters worse, my boss is a Raiders fan and gave Erin a gift a couple of weeks ago...a pair of baby Raider socks.

Not wanting to be outdone, I immediately went to amazon.com to find something 49ers to give to our daughter.  And look what arrived in the mail today...

While this may seem fun to most we have another problem...we live in Denver.  If you are not a Bronco's fan then you may as well pack your bags and get out.  Well Erin and I differ on this too.  See, now that we live here in Denver I have no problem supporting the Bronco's as my #2 team.  Erin refuses and will root for any team that plays against the Broncos.  My thought is if our daughter is going to grow up in Denver, she may as well grow up a Broncos fan!  :)

I must go hide both pairs of socks now before Erin gets home.  Knowing her she will burn them before Kaitlyn even gets to wear them.

San Diego Baby Shower

My family and friends threw me a baby shower in San Diego last weekend.  It was a tea party and book theme.  It was so great to see everyone. Kaitlyn has quite a library now. Thank you Kitty, Terri, Shannon and Jess for putting it all together!
