Kaitlyn is 11 months old

Can you believe we only have one more month until she is 1??? I certainly can't. This was a big month. She is 20.5 pounds and 30 inches.

1. She started walking!!!! She walks about 80% of the time now. As soon as she got the hang of it there was no stopping her.


2. She pulls herself up from a sitting position without any help from furniture or us.


3. She is still drinking formula but it is more like a drink instead of a meal now. She eats most of the same things we do as long as she can mush it up since she still doesn't have a lot of teeth.


4. She has tooth number 3 coming in but it has not broken through yet but we have started brushing her teeth.


5. She still likes to play with the laundry, now if only I could teach her to fold it instead of unfolding it.


6. She has mastered the Noggin. Jared taught her how to do noggins so now when you say, "noggin" she slowly tilts her head down towards your head to give you a gentle noggin.


7. She is VERY ticklish! Especially on her feet and legs. I guess she does take after me.


8. She loves to climb the stairs. I just wish she would lean to go back down now.


9. If I am standing you can usually find her attached to my legs which can make cooking and cleaning a challenge.
10. She loves being outside as long as it's not too windy.


11. She loves to carry everything around by it's tag. She usually has a book in one hand and a toy or jacket (she likes to eat the zippers) in the other. If she happens to get her hands on socks then it is all day enjoyment for her. She will walk around with one in each hand waving them and takes turns eating and soaking each one.

Her favorite toys are a few cardboard books that make her laugh, her her giraffe, her lamby and a spoon rattle from her table toy. I'm working on teaching her to blow kisses, but she seems to like receiving them more them giving them. Maybe next month.
